BUDDING entrepeneurs are being encouraged to put themselves forward for a new student award and the chance to win a £20,000 prize.
The government-backed Unipreneur Awards, sponsored by HSBC Bank and presented in association with the National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship (NCGE), follows a recent study that suggests there could be as many as 80,000 students running campus-borne businesses - with some already on the way to their first million.
Entrants should be enrolled at university or have graduated in the past 12 months. Nominations can be made at www.unipreneurs.hsbc.co.uk by November 23.
