THE inquest into the death of Greater Manchester Chief Constable Michael Todd is to take place on October 6.
Mr Todd, once tipped for the top job at Scotland Yard, was widely regarded as one of the country’s most talented senior police officers.
He disappeared on March 10 after speaking of personal troubles to senior colleagues.
His body was found on Mount Snowdon in North Wales the next day.
Tests showed he was over the legal drink-drive limit, but the exact cause of death, an apparent suicide, has not been established.
