Man to be sentenced for animal cruelty

A 49-YEAR-OLD man will appear in court on Monday to be sentenced for a number of animal cruelty offences.
Bernard Jackson, of Jackson Street, Farnworth, caused an Alsatian-type dog and puppy to suffer unnecessarily and failed to meet their needs.
Jackson will appear at Bolton Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
