POP band the Scissor Sisters have said that they hope Sir Ian McKellen will join them on stage at the Glastonbury festival this weekend.
The band are set to play the Pyramid Stage on Saturday, and say they hope the former Bolton School pupil will accept their invitation to join them for the track Invisible Light.
The Lord of the Rings actor contributed a spoken word introduction to the track, which appears on the band’s latest album, Night Work.
