Police hunt for rail station pervert

BRITISH Transport police want to speak to a man who made lewd comments to a 14-year-old boy.

The teenager was missing from home at the time and was at Bolton railway station in Trinity Street, begging for money.

A man approached the boy and engaged him in conversation on Saturday, April 19, between 10.20pm and 10.35pm.

A BTP spokesman said: "The man made a number of lewd suggestions and offered the boy money.

"The boy declined the money and the man walked off towards platforms three and one (Manchester bound). The victim then ran out of the station and called police."

The man is described as around 5ft 11ins tall and was wearing a thick blue coat and glasses.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Stuart Maw at British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40.
