A MAN who drove off in a taxi after a row over a fare will be sentenced later this month.
Terence Hickey, aged 23, of Hilden Street, The Haulgh, Bolton, got into the car and drove it away after refusing to pay his girlfriend's fare when she arrived at his home.
Yesterday, Hickey appeared at Bolton Magistrates Court to be sentenced after pleading guilty to driving with excess alcohol, taking a motor vehicle without consent and driving without insurance or driving licence.
The case was adjourned until May 29 for probation service reports.
