A CHURCH minister is saying goodbye to her Westhoughton congregation but will not be asking the way to her next parish.
The Rev Janie Noble comes from Amarillo, the city that was made famous in the number one single by Tony Christie and Peter Kay for Comic Relief.
She is leaving Westhoughton Methodist Church, Chew Moor Church and St George's Church at The Hoskers, where she has been vicar for three years.

She came to Bolton with her husband Frank Amon, a retired professor, in August 2005. But they have decided to return to America, this time to Albuquerque, New Mexico, so they can be closer to their family, in particular her 92-year-old father and the couple's two young grand-daughters.
The minister, aged 57, held her last service on Sunday morning. She said: "It was a wonderful service. There were a lot of tears as we said our goodbyes."
She added: "We have loved our time here in Westhoughton. From the moment we arrived everyone was so welcoming."
