STUDENTS at the University of Bolton who are preparing to leave their digs for the summer break could be entitled to a refund on their television license.

TV Licensing is reminding students who are going home for the summer that they could be eligible to receive some cashback.

Students who bought their TV Licence in October and don't need it for July, August and September, can claim back the final quarter of their licence. The refund on a TV Licence bought in October 2007 will be £33.88.

The licensing authority is also reminding students to update their address details if they still require a license at alternative accommodation.
