Westhoughton cannabis farm blaze: Man charged

A 36-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with a drug offence after a cannabis farm sparked a blaze in a house.
Firefighters were called to a semi-detached house in Townsfield Road, Westhoughton, at 3.50am on Thursday, January 3.
Once the fire was out police discovered the remains of a cannabis farm.
Richard Shackleton of Winscar Road, Hindley, has been charged with production of cannabis. He is due to appear at Bolton Magistrates Court on Thursday, May 22.
