ACCOUNTANT CLB Coopers has further added to its team with the recruitment of two associates who carry more than 40 years of industry and practice experience into the firm.

Simon Carruthers and Rob Richardson join the firm from Grant Thornton where, as associate directors, they delivered a range of services focusing on the entrepreneurial small and medium sized businesses (SME) market, putting the long term ambitions and aspirations of business owners at the heart of the discussion.

Managing partner Mark Worsley, based at CLB’s Chorley New Road, Bolton office, said: “We are delighted with these appointments.

“Simon and Rob are well regarded in the North West market place and are a further demonstration that CLB Coopers continues to invest in people who can make a real difference to our clients.

“These roles will link with our recently enlarged tax practice and corporate services teams, to ensure that future objectives of our clients are defined and action taken to ensure their objectives are achieved.

“With the new economic landscape of recovery and investment in the future, the enhancement to the team means we will remain in an excellent position to continue to deliver real business advice via our team of highly professional and experienced people”.

Mr Worsley added that the latest appointments follow a number of significant new client wins and additional appointments for CLB Coopers.
