PUNTERS poured through the doors of the “buzzing” Eagley Beer Festival to make it a record turn-out.
Organisers from the Eagley Sports Complex say the event over the weekend of March 29 and 30, showcasing a wide range of beers and entertainment has been a hit for the second year running.
Chairman Brian Catterall said: “The festival has been absolutely brilliant — we couldn’t have been happier with how it has gone.
“It has been really well attended with people of all ages coming for the entertainment and all the different beers.
"It was buzzing right from the Friday and it’s thanks to all the hard work of the people who have helped organise the festival.”
The Eagley complex has football, cricket, tennis, rounders and archery teams.
