SNOOKER enthusiasts are going potty for the new Q147 facility on the site of the former Rileys hall in Blackburn Road, Astley Bridge.
Brothers Affi and Arif Adam launched the new seven-table club a month ago in one part of the complex which also includes furniture showroom Global Interiors.
The Adam brothers and their pal Mubarak Patel, who helps run the club, set out to put the snooker hall at the heart of the local community, welcoming in youngsters wanting to try out the sport.
“The interest in the club is massive,” said Affi. “We are attracting a highly diverse group of people from different age groups and cultural backgrounds, which is very encouraging.”
