CUSTOMERS are set to be at the sharp end in Eddie Crowe’s newly launched retro rock themed barbers’ shop in Kearsley.
The 33-year-old has quit his job working at Manchester city centre hairdressers to open The Neighbourhood Barber in Manchester Road.
Mr Crowe, who has been barbering since he was 16 has designed the outlet around his beloved classic rock style of music.
But he is also taking customers back a few years — to the days of a close shave with an old-style cut throat razor.
“We specialise in basic haircutting,” said Mr Crowe, who is running the shop alongside his girlfriend Annabel Pindar. “But we are also offering a good old-fashioned shave with a razor, which is a service many customers like.”
