QUALITY clothing retailer Edinburgh Woollen Mill is opening its second outlet in Bolton tomorrow.

The firm is launching a store at Bolton Garden Centre, in Wigan Road, and has taken on five staff.

It will augment Edinburgh Woolen Mill’s shop at Stephen H Smith Garden and Leisure in Radcliffe Moor Road, Bradley Fold.

To celebrate the landmark opening, store staff will greet the first 30 customers through the doors with an Edinburgh Woolen Mill goody bag, comprising a novelty Scottie dog toy, shortbread biscuits and scarf.

A full-time store manager and four part-time roles have been created in the 1,450 sq ft store and bosses are promising it will feature some of the retailer’s most sought after men’s and ladies’ wear, including Country Rose and PG Field.

Manager of the Manchester area for the company, Lesley Olive, said: “We’re delighted to see The Edinburgh Woollen Mill join the retail mix in the area and feel our store will really complement what is already on offer and go some way towards creating a great day out for our customers.

“As we continue to grow throughout the UK, we consistently pride ourselves on bringing quality, fashionable and affordable clothing to customers throughout the UK.

“Our Bolton Garden Centre store is the perfect example, delivering exciting ranges which are exclusive to our stores such as Isle, Country Rose and James Pringle that cater to the needs of new and existing customers.

“We can’t wait to open the doors of our new store to visitors. Customers can expect to be greeted by a new and friendly team who will be on hand to showcase exactly what The Edinburgh Woollen Mill has to offer.”

The business has more than 380 mainstream stores throughout the UK as well as an online store and now employs more than 16,000 people across 1,000 UK locations.
