SIX businesses which have together served Bolton for more than 50 years have celebrated significant birthdays.

Support organisation TheBestOfBolton brought the owners of the firms together to mark the milestone.

Les Cliff, who runs Framearound in Bank Street, has been operating for 30 years and is the town’s only Fine Art Guild Commended Framer.

He was recently recognised as The Most Love Picture Framer in the UK the BestOfBolton’s “Local and Loved” campaign.

Clair Beswick, owner of Super Stars Children’s Nursery in Longcauseway, Farnworth has been running for 10 years and Matt and Sally Jones, of The Purple Property Shop in Blackburn Road, hit the four-year mark.

The Purple Property Shop has also been voted The Most Loved Estate Agent for the third year running and is among the top 100 businesses in the UK, according to the “Local and Loved” campaign.

Meanwhile, George and Stella Omoregie, of Kids Fashion Mart, a children’s fashion boutique in Chorley Old Road, and Andrew and Mancy Dwyer, of Tumble Dwyers, a dry cleaning and laundry studio in Longcauseway, Farnworth, and Georgie Green, of Occasion Flowers, in Plodder Lane, Farnworth, are all celebrating three years in business.

Emma Hughes, who runs The Wedding Room in Blackburn Road, Bolton, has also enjoyed a first birthday celebration.
