GUEST speaker Zubair Hanslot from the University of Bolton talked to a meeting of Bolton Professionals Curry Club at Spice Valley yesterday.
Dr Hanslot, the University's Provost, is in charge of opening the University's new Technical College school on the site of the old Holts Mill.
The state-of-the-art £10 million site is set to open its doors in September.
The gathered guests heard about the vision for the school, which will admit14 to 19-years-old and will specialise in health sciences and engineering technologies.
