A NEW Bolton website is aiming to offer a unique “matching service” for estate agents and plans to revolutionise the way the market works.

The Part Exchange Register was only born in January and has already been flooded with interest thanks to its matching tool, which enables agents to generate additional property sales by bringing vendors and buyers together in a targeted approach.

The tool creates property matches between an agent’s vendors and those of their competitors — as well as matching vendors to new homes from a national network of property developers.

Operations director Joanne McClarence, who is running the website from its Chorley New Road base, said: “The part exchange process is fully understood in the new build market, where it is used effectively by property developers to sell stock.

“Our aim is to not only enhance this process further with developers but also to provide agents with a simple and effective way of using this process to generate additional sales.”

The software behind the website effectively matches buyers and vendors from what is known as “moving on” criteria.

The register will ask those looking for properties to ask five simple questions to find out essential criteria regarding the type of property they are after, the number of bedrooms they desire, the specific area they would like to live in and how much they are willing to spend.

The company has launched in Bolton, initially serving the local area but has already received interest from neighbouring towns and has plans to eventually roll out its service on a national level.

Ms McClarence said the reaction to the website since its January launch has been “very exciting.”

She added: “Prior to the January launch there was just me involved and now we have four members of staff — we are working with a number of estate agents in Bolton and are already reaching out to those in Manchester, Bury and Wigan.”

She said she believes Part Exchange Register is offering a service that no one else in the market is currently providing.

She added: “Many vendors are longing to move, but can’t do so until they find a buyer for their property.

“The problem is that many home movers wait around until their property is sold before they start to view other houses — but not anymore.

“The Part Exchange Register will give vendors the opportunity for a quicker sale and no-chain transaction.”

Another unique offering of the website is that it enables estate agents to offer an added-value service to their vendors and provides another sales channel — ideal for agents who are looking to explore new sales opportunities.

The idea is that agents will have their own personal page, where they can easily upload properties to the Part Exchange Register as part of their daily feed.
