MORE than 80 eighty business leaders attended Bolton Lads & Girls Club’s second business breakfast event this year held at their base on Spa Road.

The breakfast event was sponsored by Speed of Sight, an organisation that provides people with disabilities the thrill and experience of motor sport racing.

Karen Edwards OBE, Chief Executive of Bolton Lads & Girls Club welcomed eight new names to the club's patron society.

Bolton companies who have pledged their support since the previous breakfast in January include; Primo Property Management, Gorilla Accounting, JDC Communications, Scruffy Monkey, Kids Fashion Mart, iData Communications Ltd, Assembly Solutions and Individual Patrons, Paul Cooke and Suzanne Wheeler.

Graham Balshaw, Managing Director of Assembly Solutions, said: “Bolton Lads & Girls Club has struck a chord with me. I know there are a lot of other great charities out there but I feel the work the club does in offering support to tomorrow's citizens is essential."
