THE owners of a Bolton kitchen and bathroom firm have created a book aimed at helping people get their dream kitchen.
Robin and Christine Holt, who run Queenline Kitchens and Bathrooms, have published 'Kitchens. The Insiders View: How to buy your dream kitchen without making expensive mistakes'. They wrote the book after hearing of expensive mistakes that customers had made over the years.
They have been running their business, based in Turton Road, Bradshaw, for more than 40 years and have gathered a huge amount of experience about kitchens.
Christine said: "Over that time we have heard many unhappy stories from our clients who have been disappointed even swindled in the past when buying their kitchens. We listened to them about what they wish they had known before they set out on the buying process and made note. That information became the basis of our new book."
The book aims to highlight potential pitfalls that could occur when buying a kitchen, and advice on the right steps to take before splashing out.
Christine said the book, which is available now, has been well received by readers. She said: "Within two weeks of being published on Amazon it hit number one bestseller in the home and garden and home improvement categories. We had people phoning to ask where they can buy the print book so, we are releasing it in print.
"It is only a little book but its readers will save time and money by reading it and following its advice. Kindle reviewers have already told us how effective it is."
The book is available in print for £7.99, or £2.99 as an e-book.
