MERCEDES-Benz Bolton helped a charity night become a fizzing success.
They donated the use of a CLK and a Smart Car for a weekend, complete with insurance, as unusual raffle prizes for a Fizz Club event at the Holiday Inn in Higher Bridge Street, Bolton, organised for the Children Today charity.
Women who attended the successful event were not only able to learn about champagne and all kinds of sparkling wines, courtesy of Janet Harrison of Cracking Wines, but also boosted the charity’s funds by more than £200 with a raffle.
Elizabeth Oakes, fundraiser for the charity which buys bespoke equipment for children with disabilities, said the evening was a great success. “It was not only very enjoyable but the ladies really loved the car prizes and we’re very grateful to Mercedes-Benz Bolton.”
