A NEW health cafe has opened in Bolton town centre.

The Vida Health Kitchen, which promises "fast, fresh and healthy food," has been opened by the Vida Group on site of a former cafe on Bridge Street.

Vida Group owners Dan Watson and Paul McCarthy are behind the restaurant. Dan is an ex professional boxer who owns one of the largest tattoo studios in the UK.

They say their fast, fresh and healthy foods offer the busy people of the town centre a healthy and convenient place to eat in, or take away.

Dan said: “There is little choice in the town centre for healthy eating and no real fresh healthy food options. I wanted to be able to make the right food choices for my lifestyle, but it needs to be convenient, fast, fresh and fit into a healthy eating plan.

"Vida Health Kitchen is a sit in or take out restaurant where you can eat healthy in Bolton, whether you have a 20 minute break or an hour for your lunch or breakfast, Vida Health Kitchen is fast, fresh and healthy.

"For breakfast we have an array of options including the king of breakfasts, porridge. Or maybe you are a granola kind of person.

"Like a full English? Try our paleo breakfast. We have it all, more than that, you can even build your own breakfast. In addition our main menu offers the build your own option as well.

"Simply follow the four steps on our menu found at www.vidahealthkitchen.com, to get the healthy meal you want. If you want a salad we have that too, burritos, wraps hot box packs, don't worry we have got your back."

The Vida Health Kitchen opened on Bridge Street earlier this week.
