A THRIVING kitchen and bathroom renovation business has moved to new premises – three doors down the road.

Granite Transformations has been operating from Marsden Road in Bolton for 11 years.

But the company has outgrown its original home and has now moved to much larger site.

The 140 sq metres of space at 1-3 Marsden House, where the company is now based, had previously been empty for seven years.

Granite Transformations started as a kitchen worktop replacement service but owner Derek Delaney’s range of surfaces and tiles has expanded so far that for several years he has been doing complete kitchen and bathroom renovations, as well as other projects in both residential and commercial spaces.

The new, purpose designed showroom has taken on the new name of TREND Transformations to encompass the whole range of products including beautiful Orsoni mosaic tiles.

Mr Delaney, from Over Hulton, said, “Now we are operating from a much larger showroom, and under the rebrand, we can offer more products to our customers.

"Alongside the existing worktops and kitchen renovations products, we have more mosaic options and designs on show.

“The new showroom is much easier to navigate, and we always make sure customers are offered as much or as little assistance as they need.

"We have always introduced them to all the products on offer, but now the service feels more streamlined. It feels great to be able to serve our customers in this dedicated space, and breathe some life into this previously neglected location.

"It’s a testament to the hard work of our 12-strong team including my wife, Pauline, my son, Daniel, and all of our sales people, manufacturers and fitters that we’ve needed to triple the size of our showroom.”

The team will be holding an open day at the new premises on Saturday featuring games, afternoon tea and the chance to win a weekend for two in London.
