MANUFACTURERS in the Bolton area are invited to an event outlining what they need to do to prepare for Brexit.

‘Preparing Your Manufacturing Business for Brexit’ will be held at the Bolton Whites Hotel at Bolton Wanderers’ Macron Stadium on de Havilland Way on Tuesday January 16 2018 from 8am-11.30am.

The event will be delivered by the Manufacturing Growth Fund in partnership with Business Growth Hub, part of The Growth Company, and will focus on offering Bolton’s manufacturers an outline of what Brexit means for small and medium manufacturing firms, providing them with the tools to start preparing their businesses.

Following a welcome and overview from the Hub’s manufacturing advisor Paul Holt, Mike Brook and Jayne Mazulis from Barnsley-based international business consultants Brook Corporate Developments will outlines the implications of Brexit for British manufacturers.

This will then be followed by a talk from a representative from the Department for International Trade North West, before a panel discussion on how to plan for Brexit involving all the speakers.

Attendees will then take part in workshops to help them grasp the practical implications of Brexit and there will also be a chance for attendees to seek further specialised advice from the event’s speakers on the full range of manufacturing issues.
