TWO Bolton dental practices have been given a top award for patient service excellence by healthcare search engine WhatClinic.
Twelve months of data from users of Synergy Dental Clinic practices in Blackburn Road, Halliwell, and Higher Swan Lane, Great Lever, were considered.
Patient review scores, feedback data and clinic contact rates were all looked at by the comparison site which in 2017 had more than 15 million visitors finding and comparing clinics.
The two clinics – plus the Synergy Dental Clinic in Tenterden Street, Bury - were included in the less than two per cent of clinics on the site which qualified for the award’s exacting standards. They needed a consistently high ServiceScore rating; this measures the clinic’s commitment to customer service over a whole year.
Synergy Dental Clinics’ founder and Managing Director, Dr Zuber Bagasi, commented: “Providing our patients with the best standard of care and service is something we take very seriously.
“Therefore, we are delighted to be recognised for our commitment to customer service. As a practice, it is something we focus on in everything we do and to receive such positive feedback from our patients is great.”
WhatClinic CEO David Roe congratulated Synergy Dental Clinics. He stated: “The WhatClinic Customer Service Awards have now run for nine years. In 2018 we are now including tens of thousands of ratings of patient to clinic phone calls, rating clinics on their politeness, helpfulness and customer service over the phone as well as through email, online and in person.
“Ratings are useful to both consumers and clinics. Consumers can see which clinics have rated well with lots of other users and clinics can evaluate their own performance against others in their market.”
Synergy Dental Clinics were launched in 2008 by Bolton-based Dr Bagasi with the first practice in Blackpool. Since then, the group has grown to seven practices across the North-west and, as well as Bolton and Bury, are also in Blackburn, Preston and Ormskirk. Both Dr Bagasi and individual clinic teams have won numerous awards including Best Dentist, Best Dental Practice and Customer Service Excellence.
