AN Atherton company is planning to use a social networking site to enhance and extend its brand.
CartridgeMonkey.com has developed a quirky brand appeal since its launch five years ago. Now the company plans to use Facebook to extend its fan base.
Managing director Gary Flynn said: “We realise ink and toner are not the most exciting product to sell, but the CartridgeMonkey brand has achieved broad base appeal. We wanted to look at ways to further develop the brand recognition and appeal outside of our existing marketing channels.
“We decided to launch our Facebook page as it allows us to be more edgy than we can on CartridgeMonkey.com and Red Nose Day seemed such a good time to launch.”
CartridgeMonkey.com is a trading brand of NetGiant Ltd, a printing supplies group which has a turnover in excess of £4.5 million.
