A £12 million bonus scheme for employees who reach targets has been announced by home improvement giant B&Q.
Part of the Kingfisher Group, B&Q, which has a large store in Bolton, says it expects around 30,000 shop floor-based workers will be eligible for the monthly bonus based on individual store team targets.
The scheme, which was trialled over three months earlier this year, saw more than 70 per cent of store employees receiving the benefit each month with an average payout of around £60. The first payments will be made from this month.
