A BAR recently opened in memory of a young woman who died from cancer has started to serve American style food.
Owner Sarah Feeney, opened Butterflies bar, named in memory of sister Gemma Feeney, who died in 2007 after fighting cancer for five years.
Ms Feeney has now started serving American-style food during the day.
During the day the cafe, situated on Higher Bridge Street, will serve waffles, burgers and pancakes cooked by American chef John Donnelly.
At night time the cafe tables are packed away and the venue is transformed into a late night bar aimed at the more mature crowd.
Ms Feeney said: “On Friday we will be offering two meals for £6 and on Friday February 26 we will be holding a memorial darts competition for Gemma with entry open to anyone.”
