A NORTH West trade mission to the USA’s leading renewable energy sector exhibition is almost full with just one place remaining.

Businesses involved in wind, solar, biomass, small-hydro and geothermal energy now have only a short time to apply for the last place.

UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) and Envirolink Northwest, supported by the North West Regional Development Agency (NWRDA), have organised the mission to the 2010 Renewable Energy World Conference and Expo in Austin, Texas.

A UKTI spokesman said: “Almost 4,000 renewable power professionals attended last year’s event so it offers North West businesses excellent export opportunities and three full days in which to network, negotiate new business and exchange ideas with organisations from across the globe.”

The mission departs on February 20 and returns on February 26. Its schedule will offer a range of activities and options designed to introduce participating companies to the key business contacts operating in the North American energy sector.
