£7.8m plans for North West housing

YORKSHIRE-based construction company Southdale has expanded into Greater Manchester with three schemes, worth a total of £7.8 million.

New social housing developments are planned for Little Lever, Blackley and Rochdale and the firm plans to open offices in the region.

The social housing project in Hamilton Court, Little Lever, is worth £1.4 million and comprises 17 three and four bedroom properties for rent, to be built on a brown field site on behalf of Great Places Housing Group.

Completion is anticipated by February 2011.
