A BOLTON gas maintenance company has been awarded a prestigious European standards award.

HSE Services has been awarded the European Standard EN ISO 9001:2010 for its Quality Management Systems. This standard also has the status of British Standard 9001.

Achieving the award for the family owned company, which employs more than 70 people, means that it can apply for contracts that would normally have been out of its reach because of the lack of a recognised quality certification.

Staff Instrumental in meeting the criteria for the European award were Mike Robinson, Paul Robinson, IT and Comms Manager, Bill Rule general manager and Kelly Newton, office team leader.
