Solicitors appoint seven new associates

SEVEN new associates who have made a substantial contribution to the firm, have been appointed by Stephensons solicitors.

The role of associate is an award of recognition by the partners of Stephensons and this year, promotions have been made in the family, employment, crime, personal injury and instruction taking teams.

Ann Harrison, chairman of Stephensons, said: “It is always a pleasure to appoint new associates. We are one of the few law firms to extend this position to non-solicitors too because we recognise the contributions of everyone.

“It is a great achievement and testament to an individual’s sustained and outstanding contribution to the firm. Well done to our seven new associates.”

The new associates are: Philip Richardson, an employment solicitor at Wigan Investment Centre; Paul Quinn, an employment solicitor; and Jennifer Holt, a personal injury solicitor, both of whom are based in Leigh.

Other associates include Chris Maloney in St Helens, Joanne McKay in Wigan and legal executives Kath Geere in Wigan and Leigh-based Lauren Day.

Stephensons is one of the largest regional law firms in the North West, with more than 350 staff across a network of six regional offices.
