BOLTON businesses are being urged to take part in Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce’s latest Quarterly Economy Survey.
The call comes as the survey’s preliminary results show manufacturing continues to show stronger growth while service sector growth is slowing.
Dr Brian Sloan, head of business and economic policy at Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, said: “Early indications are that business optimism is muted with the manufacturing sector more positive than the service sector.
“The survey suggests private sector job creation is continuing to grow, but there will need to be a quantum leap to make up for the public sector job losses in the months ahead.
“We are urging more businesses to take part in the survey so we can get the widest possible set of responses.”
The five-minute survey is anonymous and can be completed online by going to surveymonkey.com/s/qes.
