BUSINESS support firm Gerron is encouraging companies to look at exporting to help them build new markets and sales.
Gerron, which has an office at Mawdsley Street, Bolton, has joined with UK Trade & Investment to offer free copies of the Export for Growth guide.
The publication explains how to export and what help is available. It is aimed at small and medium-sized firms and provides information on subjects such as market research, developing an export plan, understanding legal issues, marketing and logistics, and language and cultural differences.
Gerron managing director Paul Norris said: “Many people believe exporting will be one of the main ways that UK businesses will help the economic recovery.
“We are offering this guide in association with UKTI and hope it will encourage businesses to take a look at exporting. As well as providing access to new sources of revenue, trading internationally can help to spread risk across a wider range of customers.”
