Steve will be good with food!

THE Co-operative, which has branches in Chorley Old Road, Ainsworth Lane, Tonge Old Road and Brownlow Way, has appointed Steve Murrells to the role of chief executive of its food business. He replaces Tim Hurrell who retired last year.
Mr Murrells, aged 46, is joining the Co-oprative from Danish meat company Tulip, where he was UK chief executive.
Prior to that he held a number of senior positions with Tesco, Fresh Foods, and Dobbies garden centre.
