Business is hotting up for designer radiator company

A HEATING company has expanded with a new “designer” radiator showroom and a second branch.
Geyser Radiators recently moved from Leigh to larger premises at Lostock Industrial Estate, where it has opened the showroom.
The business specialises in radiators, heated towel rails and other central heating and electric fittings.
It has radiators and rails in all shapes, sizes and finishes — horizontal and vertical, and black, white, chrome or mirror effect — and it says the showroom is the first of its kind in this area.
The larger Lostock site serves trade and domestic customers, who can see the products, get technical information and buy items straight away.
Geyser is also opening a second branch in Wiltshire and wants to expand nationally.
Alex Ramsay, the firm’s general manager, said: “Designer radiators and heated towel rails are statement pieces that add a touch of style to any interior.
It is important for customers to have confidence that they are choosing the right product for them.
“We have more than 600 products in stock here and our new showroom is open seven days a week.
“While the majority of our trade and domestic customers buy from our website and catalogue, others prefer to see products and want an opportunity to discuss all the options with us.
“Many people just aren’t aware of the choice that is available in designer heating and, more importantly, in electric heating.”
Mr Ramsay, aged 32, joined Geyser from the AGA cast iron oven company in 2007.
He grew up in Salford but has lived in Horwich for four years.
Over the period, the business has seen trade and domestic sales increase year-on-year.
Mr Ramsay puts this down to good customer service, brand marketing, product range and technical expertise.
Geyser is aiming to become a national brand known for radiators, heated towel rails and accessories.
In addition to the new branch in Wiltshire, it is to launch a number of marketing campaigns.
