A DEANE man will stand trial for allegedly having a machete in public.
David McGrail, aged 37, of Cleaveland Gardens, is alleged to have had the weapon in Towers Avenue, Deane, on Christmas Day last year.
He entered a not guilty plea to the charge at Bolton Crown Court. He will stand trial at Bolton Crown Court on July 31.
