A CHOCOLATE thief has been sentenced to an anti-social behaviour order for two years.
Gareth Wrigley, aged 33, of Kingsfold Close, Breightmet, admitted stealing 20 bars of Galaxy chocolate, worth £33, from a Co-op shop on January 6 when he appeared before Bolton magistrates.
He also admitted stealing deodorant, confectionery and food worth £50.73 on January 17 and failing to surrender to custody on February 14.
The court sentenced him to an ASBO banning him from entering shops including Morrisons in Bury Road, Breightmet; Texaco in Kay Street, Bolton; and the Co-op in Tonge Moor Road, Tonge Moor.
He was also given a community order for 20 days and ordered to pay £33.80 compensation to the Co-op, a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
