AN arsonist destroyed a car park office.

Firefighters spent an hour tackling the blaze in the car park off Breightmet Street in Bolton town centre. It happened at about 9pm on Tuesday.

Firefighters found mesh on the windows had been prised apart and that entry had been forced.

The contents of the cabin were destroyed.

The land is believed to be owned by Bolton Council, but it is understood the car park has not been used for a few years.

Police are investigating, and anyone with information can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.

They need to start handing out life sentences for arson, especially after yesterday morning. Can't just go around burning sh*t down. Happening to often now.
