BURGLARS ransacked a house in Farnworth, stealing watches, a camera and cash.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the burglary in Pear Tree Drive, between 6.30pm on October 23 and 3am on Friday.
The homeowner returned home and was "devastated" to discover his home had been burgled.
Det Con Stuart Round said: “The homeowner was understandably devastated to return home and find the house had been broken into.
“If you have been offered any high-value watches or perhaps a camera, camcorder or mobile phone recently, or who has any information as to where the items are, to get in touch.
“I would ask anyone who may have seen the burglary or witnessed anything suspicious in the area at that time, to contact police.”
Anyone with information should phone police on 0161 856 5608 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
