A GANG of seven men accused of dealing class A and class B drugs have appeared in court.

The men, four of whom are from Bolton, are charged with the conspiracy to supply large quantities of cannabis or cocaine, attended a hearing at Bolton Crown Court on November 21.

Ather Naveed, of Brixey Street, Preston, admitted conspiracy to supply 4.25kgs of cannabis resin in Manchester between July 14 and July 17.

His six co-defendants denied the charges.

Ziaullah Khan, aged 40, of Westbourne Avenue, Great Lever, denied the conspiracy to supply 1kg of cocaine.

Sajad Ahmed, aged 43, of Russell Street, Bolton, and Abdul Ali, aged 24, of Rishton Lane, Bolton, both denied conspiring to supply 4.25kgs of cannabis resin.

Asif Khan, aged 33, of Rosamond Street, Great Lever, denied the conspiracy to supply both, while Usman Mahmood, aged 31, of Pullman Street, Rochdale, and Abbas Shafiq, aged 24, of Clifford Street, Rochdale, both pleaded not guilty to conspiring to supply cannabis.
