A MAN has appeared in court after he smeared blood on walls and a staircase and damaged a door.
At Bolton Magistrates Court Kelvin Meanley, aged 22, of Newsham Close, Bolton, pleaded guilty to causing the damage, estimated at £1,500, to a property in Wigan Road belonging to Sanctuary Housing.
He was sentenced to spend 18 hours at an attendance centre and ordered to pay £400 compensation, £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
