A MAN has been charged with 15 historic child sex offences over an eight-year period.
John Harrington appeared at Bolton Magistrates Court on March 10.
The 77-year-old is accused of 10 counts of indecent assault between 1994 and 2002.
The attacks were all against the same victim, who was aged under 16 throughout the period, and all took place in Bolton.
Harrington, of Knutsford, Cheshire, also faces five counts of gross indecency with a boy under 14, which also relate to the victims of the assaults.
He did not enter a plea and his case will next be heard at Bolton Crown Court on March 27.
Until then, he is remanded on bail.
