PARENTS have been warned to make sure they know where their children are after after a group of youths started a fire in Moses Gate Country Park.
The fire service and the police had to be called out to the incident, near the red footbridge at the bank of the River Croal, at about 8.10pm on Saturday.
A spokesman for the fire service said crews from Bolton central and Farnworth fire stations had to attend the incident, and confirmed that a group of youths had been seen in the area.
Police wrote on Facebook: "Where are your kids tonight? We do not need to be attending this in Moses Gate."
They added that the scene of the incident was "not the easiest of places to get to".
