TWO more Bolton men have been arrested on suspicion of robbing a Blackburn jewellers on Monday.

The men, aged 22 and 31, are now being held after being arrested today.  

A Westhoughton man has already been charged with robbery in connection with the raid at Humberstones in Blackburn town centre.

Danny Booth, aged 27, of Park Road, appeared before Blackburn Magistrates' Court this morning.

A second Bolton man, also aged 27, was arrested on suspicion of robbery and has been bailed until September 2 pending further enquiries.

Scott Marsden, aged 27, of Chapelside Close, Wigan has also been charged with robbery and appeared in court.

Booth and Marsden have been remanded in custody and will appear at Preston Crown Court on August 17. 

Armed robbers targeted Humberstones in Blackburn town centre on Monday at about noon, stealing cash and jewellery.
