A VANDAL was forced to pay more than £1,500 in court costs after he admitted damaging a car.
Stewart Crowther, of Tern Avenue, Farnworth, carried out the damage on June 11 in Bolton.
Crowther, aged 64, was given a 12-month conditional discharge, and ordered to pay compensation and costs of £1,552 after pleading guilty to criminal damage at Bolton Magistrates' Court on July 14.
A WESTHOUGHTON man caught driving twice the drink-drive limit has been fined £500.
Vincent Moss was pulled over in Hartford Road, Westhoughton, in his Ford Transit van on June 7.
The 56-year-old, of Bank Side, has been told to pay total costs of £785 and banned from driving for 18 months.
He pleaded guilty to drink-driving and driving without due care and attention at Bolton Magistrates’ Court.
A MOTORIST has been banned from driving for 12 months after admitting driving without due care and attention.
Ludovid Karicka, aged 19, of an unknown address, also admitted driving a Skoda Fabia in Charles Holden Street on July 12 without a licence and without insurance.
He was fined £100, and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and a criminal courts charge of £150 by Bolton magistrates.
A WESTHOUGHTON man caught driving while more than three times over the limit has been spared jail.
Andrew Culf, aged 34, of Redstock Close, drove in Selbourne Close on April 8 while in excess of the drink-drive limit.
He has been banned from driving for 28 months and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.
Culf also had to pay £145 in costs.

Wesley Church drove a Ford Focus on the A666 nearly Kearsley on March 20.
He admitted driving without due care and attention at Bolton Magistrates' Court on July 14.
The 30-year-old, of Clifton Road, Monton, Salford, was told to pay additional costs of £135 and had seven points put on his licence.
