Attacker sentenced

A TONGE Fold man must carry out 250 hours of unpaid work after admitting assaulting another man.

Gary Costello, aged 25, of Kelstern Close, was also ordered to pay compensation of £250, a victim surcharge of £60, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150 by Bolton magistrates.

Drink driver banned

A DRINK driver has been banned for 14 months after being caught driving while over the limit.

Samuel Grimes, aged 24, of Georgina Court, Daubhill, also admitted driving without insurance and a licence.

Grimes was fined £110 by Bolton magistrates, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150.

Man damaged cafe 

A GREAT Lever man has been fined after admitting causing £150 worth of damage to a town centre cafe.

Israel Karenga, aged 23, of Dunbar Drive, pleaded guilty to damaging a window of Cafe Aroma Bar in St Andrew's Court.

He was fined £135 by Bolton magistrates, and was ordered to pay compensation of £150, a victim surcharge of £20, a criminal courts charge of £150 and costs of £85.

A MAN has been fined after admitting using threatening words or behaviour.

Elias Hatia, aged 22, of Dijon Street, Daubhill, was fined £150 and ordered to pay costs of £85, a criminal courts charge of £150 and a victim surcharge of £15 by Bolton magistrates.

Thomas Bond, aged 21, of Eastleigh Grove, Bolton, was fined £60 and ordered to pay costs of £85, a criminal courts charge of £150 and a victim surcharge of £20 by Bolton magistrates.

Fine for drink driver 

A DRINK driver has been banned for three years after being caught driving while over the limit.

Gary Vose, aged 36, of Hallbridge Gardens, Astley Bridge, was fined £365 after being caught near his home on July 25.

He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £36, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150 by Bolton magistrates.

Warning to drunk man 

A MAN who was drunk and disorderly on a Kearsley street has been given a conditional discharge for 12 months.

Stephen Peace, aged 26, of Walworth Close, Radcliffe, admitted the offence which happened in St Kilda Avenue, on July 25.

He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150 by Bolton magistrates.

Man fined for abusive words

A MAN has been fined after using abusive words or behaviour in a racially aggravated incident.

Martin Corner, aged 34, of Radcliffe Road, The Haulgh, admitted the offence and was fined £270.

He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £27 and costs of £300 by Bolton magistrates.

Drink driver in court 

A DRINK driver has been banned for nearly two years after being caught driving while over the limit in Deane Road.

Andrejas Golubovas, aged 32, of Constance Road, Deane, also admitted driving without insurance.

Golubovas was banned for 23 months, and was ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work by Bolton magistrates.

He must also pay a victim surcharge of £60, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150.

Driver hit with fine and three-year ban

A HEATON man has been fined and banned from driving for three years after admitting drink driving.

Michael Coupe, aged 41, of Markland Hill Lane, pleaded guilty to driving a Mini on Chorley Old Road while over the legal limit.

He was fined £100 by Bolton magistrates, and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150.

Drink driver with no insurance banned

A DRINK driver has been banned from getting behind the wheel for a year.

Cara James, aged 29, of Barchester Avenue, Breightmet, drove a Fiat Punto in Manchester Road, Bury, on June 20, while over the legal alcohol limit and without insurance.

She admitted the offences to Bury magistrates on Friday and was also ordered to pay fines and court costs totally £260.
