A FLASHER who confronted a couple walking children home from school has been sentenced to treatment in hospital.
James Malnieks, aged 34, was drunk and lying in grass near Brownlow Fold Primary School on June 25 last year when the couple walked past with two children, Bolton Crown Court heard.
The court was told in December that Malnieks knelt up, undid his trousers and exposed himself, shouting lewd remarks to the family before simulating sex with a beer can and several nearby lampposts.
He denied committing the offence but was found guilty.
Judge Graeme Smith yesterday gave Malnieks, of no fixed address, a hospital order. He was also placed on the sex offenders' register for seven years.
