TWO people have been arrested after a hatchback crashed into people carrier – writing both vehicles off – in Little Hulton.
The lilac Fiat Punto collided with the rear off-side corner of a silver Volkswagen Touran in Madams Wood Road, between Armitage Social Club and the junction with Wicheaves Crescent, on Monday (Apr 18) evening and was abandoned by its occupants.
Officers wrote on GMP's Salford West Facebook page: "Following reports of a vehicle driving dangerously on Madams Wood Road, it was later located having collided with a parked car.
"Two offenders have been arrested nearby for the driving offences and a criminal offence by relief officers at Swinton."
Kim Nolan, who owned the damaged Volkswagen, posted on Facebook: "Just thankful that we weren't in it and no-one else got hurt on their rampage.
"The damage is worse than it looks — got pushed down the street and looks like a write off."
