PURSUIT: A driver tried to 'outrun the cops' in a Ford Ka
A MOTORIST was taken into custody after trying to "outrun the cops" in a Ford Ka.
It was still dark when traffic officers from GMP's road policing unit who were on patrol began to tail the purple hatchback after it failed to stop.
The chase happened in Kearsley this morning and ended when the driver hit a fence and part of the trim around the offside front wheel fell off.
