THE TRIAL of Tomasz Bubrowski, who is accused of murdering a fellow Polish man in Bolton, has been listed to take place next year.
Bubrowski, aged 38, is accused of killing Sebastian Zuchlinski in Davenport Street on February 6.
Mr Zuchlinski, a 39-year-old from northern Poland who is thought to have worked as a delivery driver and to have trained as an amateur cage fighter, died of stab injuries.
Bubrowski denied a single charge of murder when he appeared at Bolton Crown Court yesterday.
The trial – which is only the second murder trial ever to be held at the Bolton court – was due to begin on August 10.
But the Honorary Recorder of Bolton, Judge Timothy Clayson ordered that it will now begin on February 27 next year and it is expected to last three weeks.
In the meantime Bubrowski, of Cavendish Gardens, Daubhill, was remanded into custody.
